Minutes of Meeting
Present:
Hughes, Ireton, Moreno, Poremba, Truitt, Wallop, Maloney, Smith, Wharton (9).
Absent:
Dallaire, Marine, McIver, Weiland, Emond, Lunsford, Pilchard, Pretl, Purnell, Strott, Widdowson (11).

PRELIMINARY MATTERS
Discussion of a quorum and a decision to continue with the steering committee meeting was reached.

DISCUSSION OF COMMITTEES REPORTS
Members reviewed the amended documents from the By-Laws and Membership Committees
Steering committee then engaged in discussion over membership forms and concluded that we would ask Mike Pretl to amend them with either one side or neighborhood/HOA and the other for individual, or possibly cleaning up the sheet and having both on the same side.
The committee then decided to put forward 2 options in terms of timing for the "Meeting of 52" and convening of the inaugural Neighborhood Congress, the committee will decide on course of action at May 29th meeting
A letter of invitation for June 26th "Meeting of 52" will be drafted for approval on May 29th, with a stuffing and mailing meeting scheduled for June 5, 2007
